In my course of study, I was asked which I would rather hear,
1. Wow, what a beautiful bride!
2. Wow, what a skillful makeup artist!
It dawned on me. The former is a bride who is beautiful just as she is; the latter is an intentional transformation of the bride into someone she is not.
In turn, my goal is to express each bride’s individuality through the way their makeup and hair is done and naturally enhances each individual’s beauty to bring out the uniqueness of every bride.
I studied makeup and hair in Taiwan, the country famous for its cutting edge in wedding fashion, in 2006. Here I am, a professional wedding makeup artist. A firm believer in self improvement, I made my way back to study under top bridal makeup artists in year 2009 and 2011.
My products are internationally recognized brands ranging from Chanel, Makeup Forever, MAC and Bobbi Brown.
Bio
Born in Taiwan and graduated from NUS in history. Currently working as a full time makeup artist and a full time palm oil trader. Embracing my diverse identities with gusto, I fuse each and every experience into inspirations for my work.
