In my course of study, I was asked which I would rather hear,

1. Wow, what a beautiful bride!
2. Wow, what a skillful makeup artist!

It dawned on me. The former is a bride who is beautiful just as she is; the latter is an intentional transformation of the bride into someone she is not.

Through the strange workings of the universe, I met you. From that first look and some laughs that we will share, they fueled my imagination which in turn help me to express your personality and uniqueness through the way your makeup and hair could be done.

I was inspired in 2006 and since then, I channel my energy, love for beauty and imagination to fulfill the dreams of brides I was fortunate enough to meet. As years pass, what caught me in surprise was that I realized my brides are my best teachers and motivators.

Other than craving a niche market in the bridal industry, through my many years as a Makeup artist, I have come to realize how important eyebrows are to define one’s features. And aren’t we always frustrated over drawing imbalanced brows, over-plucked brows that refused to grow or eyebrows that disappeared with your makeup after half a day? So now, I am also waving my magic wave saving eyebrows with 6D and misty eyebrow embroidery.

My products are internationally recognized brands ranging from Cle de Peau, Chanel, Makeup Forever, Shu Umera and Bobbi Brown.

Bio

Born in Taiwan and graduated from NUS in history. I was working as a Palm oil trader till I became a full time makeup artist in 2013. Embracing my diverse identities with gusto, I fuse each and every experience into inspirations for my work.

I am a borderline introvert. It takes awhile for me to warm up and small talks intimidate me. Despite all my seriousness, I love all things beautiful – that’s why I love weddings.
